Boxes During the nineteen-fifties, Batlle Planas made small and medium-sized boxes (none of those works has survived, though photographs of them have). In 1960, he held an exhibition entitled Cajas, or boxes, at Van Riel gallery. In 1954, he exhibited sculptures, plates, and vessels at Comte gallery.
